As per estimates by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the share of agriculture and allied sectors (including agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishery) was 15.35 per cent of the Gross Value Added (GVA) during 2015-16.

Agricultural export constitutes 10 per cent of the country's exports and is the fourth-largest exported principal commodity. India, the second-largest producer of sugar, accounts for 14 per cent of the global output. It is the sixth-largest exporter of sugar, accounting for 2.76 per cent of the global exports. India is the leading producer of wheat, rice, cotton, sugarcane & vegetables.
Inspite of the fact that Indian Government is taking huge steps to help farmers but the financial condition of the farmers are still very critical. To enhance their financial status SSVB has planned for providing financial help to the farmers as "Partners". We helps farmer's in increasing crop yields (production). Our SSVB Agriculture Officer analyse the quality of soil through latest technology and suggests accordingly to the customer which crops needs /suitable for cultivation results in good production along with best quality. We are doing farming through Drip, Fertigation, Tissue Culture, Green Houses, Poly Houses etc, the most advanced technique of farming.
This partnership leads to profitable margin to both of us i.e. Farmer & SSVB .We have our own FMCG stores, therefore farmers need not to search for the customer. We at SSVB directly buys thru the farmers and provides them the best price. The crops cultivated by the farmers are sold in the branches of SSVB. The income is distributed among the farmers and company.
We encourages farmers for production of vegetables. We helps farmers in plantation, seedling, harvesting, storage of vegetables, packaging, transportation and selling directly to customers through our FMCG BBS. We mainly focus on certain vegetables like Tomato, Capsicum, Cucumber, Ginger, Potato & Onion.
